How Dewey's Pizza Began

Dewey's pizza was born from a simple belief: that great pizza should bring people together. Back in 2009, founder Dewey Thompson opened a small pizzeria on 5th Street in St Charles, MO, with nothing but a wood-fired oven, a handful of family recipes, and an unwavering passion for quality food.

2009

The First Oven Fires Up

Dewey Thompson opens the original Dewey's pizza location at 1520 S 5th St, St Charles, MO. A small shop, a big dream, and a wood-fired oven that would change the neighborhood forever.

2012

Community Favorite Award

Deweys pizza earns its first "Best Pizza in St Charles" award from the local chamber of commerce. Customer lines grow, and the team expands to meet rising demand across the neighborhood.

2015

Catering & Events Launch
